The Ultimate Guide to Disneyland Paris Dining Plans: Benefits, Booking Tips, and Reservation Know-How

Planning your Disneyland Paris holiday? You’ve likely come across the option to add a dining plan to your package. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth it or how to get the most out of it, this guide is for you.

Let’s break down what each Disneyland Paris Dining Plan includes, how the booking process works, and what you need to do to avoid missing out on the best restaurants during your stay.

What Are Disneyland Paris Dining Plans?

Disneyland Paris Dining Plans are pre-paid meal packages you can add to your hotel and ticket booking. They simplify budgeting for food and let you focus more on enjoying your trip than worrying about prices while you’re there.

There are currently three tiers of dining plans:
Standard
Plus
Premium

Each plan includes either half board (1 meal per night of stay) or full board (2 meals per night of stay), and all plans include 1 non-alcoholic drink per meal.

Standard Meal Plan
Available only at Disney Hotel Santa Fe and Disney Davy Crockett Ranch. You can opt for half‑board (breakfast and one meal per day) or full‑board (breakfast plus two meals per day, with at least one quick‑service meal per day)

Plus Meal Plan
Available at Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Disney Sequoia Lodge, Disney Newport Bay Club, and Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. This applies for both half‑board and full‑board plans. Guests at these hotels may also upgrade to Extra Plus for full‑board only

Extra Plus Meal Plan
This full‑board only plan (which includes one character dining experience per stay and daily snack & drink vouchers) is available to guests at all Disney Hotels except Disneyland Hotel

Premium Meal Plan
Exclusively available to guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel. If you stay there you can choose either half‑board or full‑board Premium, both of which include character dining, and access the broadest selection of restaurants, including signature dining at the hotel itself

Booking Your Dining Plan

You need to add your dining plan at the time you book your Disney Hotel and Tickets package. It’s not something you can add last minute or once you’re already there.

Book through:
• Disneyland Paris website
• An authorised travel agent like GoMagical.co.uk
• Official Disney call centres

If you book through an agent, check your booking confirmation to ensure the plan is included.

Reserving Your Restaurants

Here’s where things get important. Having a dining plan doesn’t automatically get you a table, you still need to make reservations. Many of the most popular restaurants book out fast.

When Can You Book?

Disney opens restaurant reservations based on your booking type:

• Breakfast does not need reservations. Turn up and show your magic pass (or pay on the day if not dining plan)
• Guests staying at a Disney hotel: Can reserve from 12 months in advance
• Day guests or those with ticket-only bookings: Can book from 2 months in advance

• Character Breakfast: Disney hotels guests, add to package from 12 months in advance
• Character Breakfast: Non-Disney hotels guests, reserve via the app 3-days in advance

• Character Dining: Disney hotels guests, add to package from 12 months in advance
• Character Dining:
Non-Disney hotels guests, add to package from 60-days in advance

This means if you’re staying on-site and you wait, you’re giving off-site guests the chance to snap up prime tables.
